Season 1 Airdrop Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the Season 1 airdrop, users needed to meet specific criteria within one or more of the four participant categories defined below. Our process included measures to filter for genuine participation and mitigate sybil activity.

Eligibility Categories & Criteria

1. ARMA Users

  • Description: Pioneers who entrusted capital to Giza's autonomous financial agents (ARMA).
  • Qualification Threshold: Accumulate at least 60 points using the ARMA points formula.
    • This is equivalent to depositing a minimum of $50 for at least 5 consecutive days.
    • Points Formula: Points = 0.01 × USD deposited × hours

2. Social Contributors

  • Description: Community members who helped build awareness and engagement through specific social campaigns.
  • Qualification Criteria: Required completing specific tasks and often involved anti-sybil filtering:
    • Layer3 Campaign: Completion of all tasks + ARMA activation.
    • Galxe Campaign: Completion of all social tasks + 1 referral.
    • Megaphone Campaign: Completion of all tasks + maximum of 20 referrals per account.

3. Community Stewards

  • Description: Active members recognized for contributing to Giza's community culture and development.
  • Qualification Criteria: Holding specific Discord roles or participating in feedback initiatives:
    • Pharaoh Role Holders: Demonstrated exceptional leadership and community contribution.
    • Scribe Role Holders: Consistent meaningful participation and onboarding help.
    • Feedback Sprint Participants: Provided detailed, actionable product feedback + deposited ≥$50 in ARMA.
    • Oasis Gathering Participants: Participated in the event + deposited ≥$50 in ARMA.

4. Early Giza Contributors

  • Description: Key individuals (hackathon participants, open-source contributors) involved in Giza's foundational phase (since 2022).
  • Qualification: Identified based on historical contributions to Giza's early technical exploration and development.

Anti-Sybil Measures

We implemented filtering mechanisms across categories, particularly for social campaigns, to prioritize genuine community members and quality contributions over automated or low-effort participation.
